iTunes Library Updater 2.0

Ok, it’s been quiet for some time now. But I’ve started working on iTLU2 (again) this week. I’ll post the sourceforge.net link as soon as the project has been reviewed by the SF staff. If someone is interested in helping me out (C# developers or graphics artist), please mail me!

By the way, thanks for your feedback. I’ll take all feature suggestions that’ve been emailed to me into consideration.

  19. This is great. I run ITunes to feed playlists to my Firefly Media server. I don’t want to integrate my music into ITunes and your software is just what I have been looking for to update ITunes.

  24. One question about this software. I run it and it seems to update my library just fine. If I then run it again, without having made any changes to the music files on my computer the status window shows music being added to my library.

    Did it miss these files the first time around? Or does it drop and re-add songs to the library each time it is run.

    Just curious.

  26. Oh my! This is a wonderful, wonderful utility!!! I use two different profiles on the same library and have had oodles of time spent on reattaching songs when there was no apparent reason for the detachment. This brings peace to my obsession – iTunes.

  41. Thanks very much. My PC HD died last week.

    My iTunes libary had about 40% dead links in 6000 songs.

    This app rebuilt the whole database properly and pulled everything back in with no messing around, duplicates or anything else.

    Brilliant thanks for your efforts – This was on Version 8 iTunes also.

  44. Thanks so much! This totally saved me so much time removing dead files. I had like 3000 plus due to my being blonde and removing the original source connected to my music. I thankfully had a backup disc but the thought of deleating 6000 plus songs and loading 40 plus cd\’s to re-load was giving me nightmares. You rock!

  45. ..can’t get into itunes….no device for syncing ipod..can’t open itunes..default folder doesn\’t exist..8.2 @ quick time installed…uninstalled…then reinstalled..still no deal..regards catherine…can you help?
